Decluttering help when you don’t know where to start…
So, let me guess.
It happened again…
You forgot your in-laws were coming over…
…or the mother of one of your kid’s friends stopped by and saw the mess…
or the company president accidently walked into your office and thought that someone had vandalized it.
And you felt humiliated — and judged.
You do care what people think when they see your clutter.
You do great work — the kinds of things that build relationships with people, your kids and their friends, coworkers and customers. You’re available at a moment’s notice to pitch in and help, and you feel great about that.
Until IT happens.
Criticism, concern and sometimes rage; no pats on the back, telling you you’re doing a good job.
When you have tried to declutter and get organized you go unnoticed, unappreciated, and feel unloved. Your attempts get swallowed up in the ongoing chaos, almost like you never did anything at all.
About me
For most of my growing up and early adult life, I was anything BUT organized! I’ve been there in that chaotic, disorganized state, embarrassed to open the window blinds, let alone welcome people into my home.
It took someone walking me through the process — without judgment — for me to learn how to make quicker, better decisions about what to do with all the stuff. I learned WHY I was hanging on to things and how not to regret letting them go.
The fact is clutter often acts as an anchor, holding you back from living life the way you really want to. Many times there is an unconscious undercurrent of “you can’t play until your room is clean;” and since your room is never clean, there is never any “play time” (which could be anything from relaxing to enjoy a movie with the family to pursuing a hobby or starting a business). Together we can reclaim your energy, your time, your space, your projects, your papers and even your money!
I work with both residential and small business clients. Not only do I help you tackle the clutter, we work through your time and paper management issues; space planning; filing system creation; financial management; setting up a home office and more. More importantly, we discover the unconscious thoughts and behaviors that challenge your ability to create and maintain order.
Contact me today and take back control of your space, your time, your energy — your life!
